Benefits for company car customers
Benefit in Kind (BIK) is the amount of tax that an individual pays for the company car that they drive. It’s based on a percentage value of the vehicle’s list price and this percentage value is defined by the vehicle’s CO2 emissions. As the Outlander PHEV emits just 44g/km of CO2, it is subject to a BIK rate of just 5%, meaning savings of thousands of pounds over running a conventional SUV as a company car.
Even better, BIK rates are frozen at 5% until 2015/16, whilst petrol and diesel SUV rates will continue to rise.
