Exterior design

Its exterior design comes with a sharp and dynamic coupe-like SUV form, which evokes the image of a sprinter ready to explode from a crouching start position. The sporty and dynamic front face is fashioned around MMC’s DYNAMIC SHIELD front face concept.

The headlamp units are styled in a high-tech and functional design. Its sharp-looking SUV coupe form with signature MMC styling employs flowing lines to distinguish itself from other SUV coupes.

The dashboard is shaped using horizontal lines and silver metal frames to help create a dynamic and sporty interior. Driver entertainment and technology is enhanced with an intuitive Smartphone Link Display Audio system operated via a Touchpad Controller and Head Up Display. Together they allow the driver to access different types of information conveniently and safely.

On the road the Eclipse Cross uses an electronically-controlled 4WD system that feeds the optimum amount of torque to the rear wheels depending on the driving situation and the road surface. Add to this a choice of efficient 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol or 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engines with a new 8-speed automatic transmission and the new Eclipse Cross ticks all the SUV boxes.

Blind Spot Warning

The Blind Spot Warning system with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert system warns the driver when there are vehicles approaching from the rear and sides, and assists the driver during lane changes and when driving in reverse.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Using millimeter-wave radar, Adaptive Cruise Control brings the car to a halt when the vehicle ahead stops, and a touch of the accelerator or flick of a switch will start it moving again when the vehicle ahead starts moving again.

Super All Wheel Control

S-AWC

The S-AWC integrated vehicle dynamics control system delivers confidence-inspiring all-terrain performance over poor surfaces as well as over changing road surfaces when driving at speed or when the weather changes suddenly.
