This week we were overjoyed to learn that we were highly commended for ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ at the Auto Express New Car Awards. Our campaign ’12 days of Eclipse Cross’ took inspiration from the traditional 12 days of Christmas song. I’m sure you all remember it from Christmas 2017/18!
Why were we so overjoyed? Well this wasn’t just any normal campaign creation, it was a Mitsubishi family affair. In the run up to the launch of the all new Eclipse Cross we wrote the lyrics for the song and gathered together a set of beautiful voices - right from the very heart of Mitsubishi HQ. Once we had our group of willing volunteer staff members we created the perfect piece of music for our campaign, ‘12 Days of Eclipse Cross’. Who would have thought it we almost sounded professional! BGT here we come? Well, perhaps not!
The soundtrack highlighted 12 key features of the Eclipse Cross and was overlaid on top of a short video series over the Christmas period. One feature per day in a true countdown on the 12 days of Christmas.
